    Battery Charge Completely Dismissed

    12-CM-12095 – Hillsborough County – October 2012 (Battery charge)

    Defendant was charged with battery as a result of an incident in Ybor City.  Defendant and the victim were engaged in a verbal altercation which rose to a physical confrontation.  Defendant, fearing that he was going to be hurt, acted in self defense.  On the morning of trial, Stephen Higgins got the charges dismissed.
